Nigeria Emerge Winners Of FIFA U17 World Cup 2013 By Thrashing Mexico 3-0

Nigeria 3-0 Mexico
The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria performance was very impressive, as they took their unbeaten run to the final of the competition, where they emerged winners of FIFA U17 world cup, by Trashing Mexico 3-0.

Nigeria is the first country to win the FIFA Under-17 World Cup for the fourth time on Friday after handing what was a convincing  3-0 defeat to their Mexican counterparts, El Tri, at the El Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Mexican were out played by the ever confident Eaglets. They played well, but Nigeria were beter than them in terms of the attack, defense, and in mid field,
The first goal came from Yahaya in the 8th minute

Kelechi Iheanacho tipped in a rebounce to increase Nigeria's goal in the 55th

The third goal was absolutely brilliant, a set piece goal by the Eaglet captain Musa Muhammed , in the 80th  minutes. Musa stunningly swerve in free kick near 18 yard box.

Nigeria 4 - 1 Iran: Eaglets Humiliate Iran as they Forge Into Quarter-final

Nigeria thrashed  Iran 4-1 to book a place in the quarter finals of the FIFA U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates yesterday evening.

Garba Manu’s boys have secured a place in the last eight of the FIFA U17 World Cup after a comprehensive victory over Ali Doustimehr’s side.

First half goals from Samuel Okon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Musa Muhammed and a second half strike from Musa Yahaya ensured the red-hot Africans caged the boastful Persians at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain city.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s thunderous strike outside the west Asians’ penalty area which almost sailed into the net as early as the 30th second sent a stern warning of the Eaglets’ quest for a place in the next round of the championship.

Playing before the cheerful Nigerian supporters made the Iranians look uncomfortable as they were thoroughly outplayed by the Nigerian whose deft touches and blistering skills were beauty to behold.~Leadership

FIFA U17 World Cup: Nigerian Golden Eaglets Battles Iran.

Nigerian Golden Eaglets are battle ready as they face Iran today by 5 pm (17:00) for a place in the last eight of the on-going FIFA U17 World Cup in the UAE.
Iranian youngsters said they are going all out against the Eaglets, to break their wings and stop them from flying. But I'm quite sure that 90min would be the right judge for today's game.
This Round of 16 match will be at the familiar city of Al Ain, where Golden Eaglets beat Mexico 6-1 and drew 3-3 with Sweden.

Eaglets finished as leaders in Group F with 7 points, while Iran were runners-up in Group E with 5 points.
All Africa's four flag bearers are through to the last 16 with Morocco and Cote d'Ivoire even staging an all-African clash in this knockout stage of the tournament.
