Yota Dual Screen Phone [YotaPhone]

YotaPhone is the newest brand of mobile phone to be unveiled soon.
YotaPhone offers you two screen options, you can either choose to use the high-def high-resolution screen, or you can just settle with the low-power screen that consumes less power.
Its possible that it might be available in December.

The YotaPhone has been in the works for longer than a year, and Russian company Yota Devices has not been ultra secretive about its baby. In fact, they have not been shy to send out teasers to the general public. The release of the actual product is another story altogether.

With Yota Devices’s “official” confirmation to TechCrunch, though, it seems that the dual-screen phone will actually get to market.

In spite of the long wait that consumers already have had to deal with, there are still many details that we don’t know about the YotaPhone. What we do know:
-a dual-core 1.7GHz chipset
-2GB of RAM
-a 4.3-inch 720p screen upfront
-a 1800mAh battery

Looking at those specs, one might wonder whether the YotaPhone can actually survive in the phone-eat-phone world out there. Then again, there is the secondary e-Ink screen that practically serves as the carrot at the end of the stick. Will it be enough to lure consumers to drop Samsung, Apple, and the other major players?
Did I hear somebody say price? Uhmm, take a wild guess.

You Can Now Charge Your iPhones With Mipwr iPhone Hand Charger

Well, you may have used electric, solar and generated power, to charge your iPhones, and sometimes you run out of battery in a place where there's no immediate power source to charge your iPhone. Here's good Mipwr, the mobile technology innovation group have been thinking long and hard about emergency power sources for mobile phones and they have come up with a solution that relies on years old technology. With the Mipwr case, you can protect and charge your iPhone by hand.

Dynamo Electricity

The team at Mipwr have used the 182 year old principle of Electromagnetic induction to enable people to use their phones in an emergency situation. Electromagnetic induction uses magnetic fields to control electricity. The plastic casing that will slip easily over the iPhone will contain a magnet. As the user pushes the paddle attached to the case, the magnet will be turned and begin to create an electric charge which in turn, gives the phone some juice (after the Mipwr backup battery that gives an additional 2 hours talk time has died as well).
With Mipwr technology, you don't need to worry about how long you browse on your iPhone.

Microsoft Best-selling Device ~ Nokia Lumia 520

You've probably heard of many Nokia Lumias, I bet you didn't know which of them is Microsoft's best selling Lumia.
Personally, I thought the best selling Lumia would be Lumia 925 becaus of its brilliant features, but no, it ain't it
The state of the PC industry was summed up this week in an internal meeting at Microsoft, where it was revealed that theNokia Lumia 520 is the biggest selling Windows device on the market at the moment.

The budget-friendly smartphone, according to Softpedia, is the most popular Windows device going, with its sales outgrowing that of any other Windows-based tablet, PC or laptop.

Although there were no official figures stated in the meeting, given the amount of advertising spend on Microsoft Surface and Windows 8, it is interesting to see a cheap phone surpass Microsoft's own hardware and software offerings – although the low cost will definitely have a factor towards the Lumia 520's popularity.

Samsung To Launch Its Golden Galaxy S4 Soon

Following the release of Apple's Gold iPad 5, and Gold 5s Samsung obviously don’t want to be left behind in the gold rush. Samsung has decided to step up their game to meet up with the fast and furious challenge in the mobile market. This has prompted Samsung to announce that  it will be launching its own golden phone soon.

The new Gold Edition Galaxy S4 will be available in two options, a Gold Pink model or a Gold Brown. The technology company has been showing off the new handsets on its United Arab Emirates social media outlets.

It is unlikely that these luxurious handsets will reach global distribution but instead look to be targeted at a well-off demographic, similar to the one that the Nokia Oro was aimed at.

But at least Samsung can say it too has a golden flagship product.
With all these new flamboyant phones and devices, I'm just wandering whether one can afford all of them at the same time smh.
